Year 7 · Test Preparation

Angle Rules

This is your final test-prep sweep. Five sections, ~225 questions in total. The first section drills Q1 vocabulary directly; the others build the angle-rule fluency you need for the rest of the test.

Section A · Definitions (~100 questions)

The five words from Q1 of the test:

Each word gets a brief explanation and 15 questions; then a 25-question mixed quiz covering all five.

Section B · Alternate Angles (25 questions)

Brief explanation, 15 identification questions (click the alternate angle), then 10 find-the-angle problems.

Section C · Corresponding Angles (25 questions)

Same structure as Section B — teach + 15 ID + 10 find.

Section D · Vertically Opposite Angles (25 questions)

Two crossing lines instead of parallels — same teach + 15 ID + 10 find pattern.

Section E · Mixed Bag (50 questions)

All four rules together — 30 identification + 20 find-the-angle. Each question names the rule explicitly ("click the corresponding angle", "find the alternate angle"), so you must apply the right one.

How it works: click items to select (gold), tap again to deselect. Check validates; wrong answers reshuffle and let you retry. The Hint button is always there if you blank. Records persist to your account so the live wall and your journal track your accuracy.

All Five Sections Sealed

You've worked through every section — definitions, alternate, corresponding, vertically opposite, and the mixed bag. Take a breath; you're ready for the test.

Q1 cheat-sheet (the words to know cold):
Acute — Between 0° and 90°
Adjacent — Next to each other
Co-interior — Between parallel lines on the same side of the transversal
Complementary — Sum 90°
Supplementary — Sum 180°
The angle rules:
Alternate angles are equal (Z-shape)
Corresponding angles are equal (F-shape)
Vertically opposite angles are equal (X-shape)
Co-interior angles are supplementary — sum to 180°
